" He is like a tree planted beside the waters
that stretches out its roots to the stream:
It fears not the heat when it comes,
its leaves stay green;
In the year of drought it shows no distress,
but still bears fruit."
Jer 17:5-10

Often, we encounter moments of unpleasant surprises when we find how many different sources of stress there are. The more roles we take on (i.e., trainee of your boss, daughter of your mother, friend of your friend, etc) the more responsibilities we bear-- thus, more stress. I think this is especially true for people in our generation because we are entitled to so many different activities, always trying to accomplish so many in such a little time. Only 24 hours!

But similar concept in a brighter way:
Simple pleasure can be digged even in the most trivial aspects of our lives. We knew that.

I realize this more these days,
that not stress from one source can overpower overall aspect of happiness,
but happiness from one source may well encompass all sources of stress.
Positive energy is just that strong :)
