Yes, we voted former dictator's daughter with our own democratic hands.
Yes, you can call me a bitter loser if you may.
Politics doesn't matter as much as long as you do your duty as a responsible, diligent citizen? No. The society's justice is in politics and it views what the "majority" expects from the future leadership. I'd say that today's loss is not the matter of defining growth and development, but rather, is the older generation's wish to remain what they call "stable" and "safe".  Korea has a terribly sad history which resulted in today's ill society. I see corruption, I see the people who suffer from apathy, I see the politicians whose interest remains not in its citizens but in the growth of their own parties. Korea does not need another 5 years that will attempt to grow economically and bury justice and equality. For this, I mourn. So call me bitter.



우려가 현실이 되고 말았다.
화가나지 않는다. 안타까울 뿐이다.

나는 정의, 상식, 우리에게 가장 시급한 문제..에 기반을 두고 소신을 다하여 선택하였다.

그 결과 난 박근혜가 적합한 대통령이 아니라고 생각하였다.
새누리당 또한 파워를 위한 당일뿐 국민을 위할 일을 할 것이라는 믿음이 안간다.

안타까운 이유는, 많은 사람들이 혼란 속에서 변화를 선택하신 것이 아니라 '익숙함'과 '보수'를 선택하셨다는 점이다. 박근혜가 되면 안보문제는 해결이 되겠지..경제성장 시켜주겠지... 박근혜가 독재자의 딸이라는 것은 그사람의 대통령으로써의 자질을 심판하기에는 올바른 잣대가 아니라고 쳐도,  민주적인 방법으로 우리가 직접 독재자 시절 그 '잘 살아보세' 를 다시 선택한 것은 참 안타깝다. 그리고 독재자의 딸 자격으로 올라갈 수 있었던 정치인의 자리에서 당을 선거에서 승리로 이끈것 이외의 그분은 오랜세월 업적은 무엇인가?

오랜시간 외국에서 보내다가 돌아온 한국에서 내가 본 한국은 아픈사회이다. 아픈사회, 아픈역사를 더 아프게할 다음 5년이 되지는 않을지 걱정이다. 정작 노인빈곤, 자살률, 저출산율로 인해 속은 더 곪아가고 있지만 언제까지 경제성장에만 희망을 걸고 있을지..참 답답하다.

우리는 5년전에도 경제대통령을 뽑았다.
실패함을 알고도 또 기대를 걸어본다.
때가 늦기 전에 이번 대통령님이 아픈사회를 잘 보살펴주시기를 바란다.
