"The word of the LORD came to Jonah a second time."
Sometimes,
we ask for one thing, and when that is given to us in a slightly different way than what we've expected, we prematurely judge that we are rejected of it. But really, it could be either be a) it's coming--at the right timing, b) it's there--but we're not seeing it, c)it's already passed--because we've missed it. It could just be that we are so blind to gifts sometimes.
As yesterday's reading says, God knocks "until achieving the end for which He sent it."
Perhaps, we are given a second time right at this moment. Maybe a third.
